Course Registration

To register for one of our courses please note the following information:

Complete the Course Registration Form by clicking on the registration button below.
Be sure to read and understand the Terms and Conditions of registration detailed below before registering.
Return your Course Registration Form to OCS by post, fax (02 6251 4366), or email ocs@ozhelp.org.au
Full payment must be received with your Course Registration Form by the advertised cut off date to be accepted and confirmed.

Registration Terms and Conditions

Concession Rates

A Concession rate may be available to students, pensioners and volunteers on presentation of the relevant card or nomination by a volunteer supervisor. OCS is pleased to offer concession rates for core training sessions of ASIST, ASIST Tune Up and SafeTALK . To find out if a concession is available for your course of choice, please review the course flyer. Group discounts are also available for five or more people from the same organisation who are attending the same course, and who register and pay in full at the same time.

Registration Conditions

In order to register for any course, all participants must complete and submit a Course Registration Form together with full payment by the advertised cut off date for your registration to be accepted and confirmed. Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Bankcard), cheque, money order, remittance advice and by BPay. Please note the information below regarding the following payment options:

Participant Cancellations

When 10 working days notice is given of inability to attend, a $20 cancellation fee will apply or a $50 cancellation fee applies if less than 10 working days notice is given. For full or partial non attendance, all fees paid will be forfeited.
In case of an emergency please notify OCS staff before or on the morning of the training, and a refund (with a cancellation fee deducted), may be issued at the discretion of OCS staff. In the event that someone else will be replacing you, please advise OCS by the registration cut off date.

Training Confirmation

You will need to contact OCS five to ten working days prior to the course date to confirm that we have received your Course Registration Form. OCS will contact you at the email address you have provided to confirm the course is running, in addition to the venue details and other essential information about attendance. In the event that the course for which you have registered is full or has been cancelled, OCS will contact you to advise.

Course Cancellations

All training courses require a minimum number of participants to go ahead. We try to ensure that minimum numbers are reached, but occasionally courses are cancelled. OCS reserves the right to cancel or alter course dates if required. You will be notified of any changes as soon as possible, usually 10 working days prior to the course. Refunds will be made when a course is cancelled, or the course date is changed by OCS.
