What is VYNE @ OzHelp?

VYNE @ OzHelp is a community service of the OzHelp Foundation and is partially funded by Mental Health ACT.

Core business of the VYNE @ OzHelp Program is the provision of accessible education and training related to suicide prevention. Activities are designed to enhance connections, resilience and mental health promotion within our community.

The Training Calendar

VYNE @ OzHelp provides and facilitates a range of best practice, evidence based training workshops.

These include:

  • SafeTALK

  • ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)

  • ASIST Tune-Up

  • A variety of speakers addressing mental health issues and therapies

Training for your Organisation

VYNE @ OzHelp can bring SafeTALK, ASIST and ASIST Tune-Up workshops to your organisation, adapting them to be relevant to your staff. We can also provide tailor-made workshops and professional development around current Community issues. These workshops improve knowledge, skills and attitudes aimed to enhance personal & organisational effectiveness & productivity.

Important Changes for 2010

As VYNE @ OzHelp grows we are always searching for more efficient ways of providing our education and training service. The changes you see below are the result of our experience and research into best practice for a service such as ours.

Please check individual Course Flyers or Calendar Summary for costs of individual courses

Some courses may offer a Concession Rate.  To qualify for concession you need to be a student, pensioner or volunteer on presentation of the relevant card or nomination by a volunteer supervisor.

Organisations who register five or more staff members in the same course, at the same time, will be  offered 10 % discount as outlined on the individual Course Flyers.

New Course Registration Form and requirements

  • Our new look Course Registration Form acts as a tax invoice for your convenience.
  • Payment must accompany registration in order for a place in your preferred course to be confirmed.
  • VYNE @ OzHelp need to receive your registration and payment by the advertised registration cut off date.
  • We now have a BPay option. Please phone or e-mail VYNE @ OzHelp for a reference number: 02 6251 4166 or vyne@ozhelp.org.au
