Networks & Community Development
Community Development
OzHelp Community Services (OCS) aims to develop connections with the community through education, training, networking, and providing consultancy and facilitation services to individuals, community groups and organisations. Below are details of trainings offered in house to organisations as well as special training sessions scheduled in response to community needs. You will also find details of projects OCS is involved with.
Trainings for the Community
OCS delivers all our core suicide intervention skills courses, SafeTALK, ASIST and ASIST Tune Up upon request from organisations in any sector. OCS is committed to building our community’s capacity to respond appropriately to people at risk of suicide, and our suite of core trainings is a highly effective medium for achieving this.
Other Tailored Training Services
OCS has a range of trainings available for your organisation to choose from. These courses can range from one to two hour suicide awareness and prevention information sessions, to half and full days of training, which include topics such as mental health at work, resilience and assertiveness, workplace bullying, conflict resolution and healthy living. We also have the capacity to adapt training to suit any specific needs your organisation may have.
Please contact OCS to discuss your training needs and to obtain a quote.
